Recycle and Reconnect
In the workshop you will create a unique and personal Earthphone, with sand, stone and soil from different places around the world.
The perfect piece of art to be offline for a while and enjoy your own creation.
Let the beauty of the natural materials surprise you and at home enjoy a valuable work of art at your working space or desk.

How does it work?
🌍 Choose a wooden smartphone case from the collection (recycle) and a custom laser-cut wooden panel.
🌎 Make your own design or choose the app template.
🌏 Next, we will use durable glue to stick the different colours of soil, sand, pebbles and shells from the Atelier Judith Dubois collection onto the wooden panel. Have you collected sand or soil during your travels? Bring some for your earthphone. Even sand or soil from your own garden is perfect for the home button! (Reconnect)

Translation of the Italian text:: “When Judith told me about her workshop “Earthphone Experience” ,, I immediately said yes. I knew her works of art (portraits, landscapes) made from soils and natural materials. Her concept of the Earthphone is interesting and current. The passion with which Judith explains things touches and fascinates you. Her studio is full of all kinds of different types of soils, kept in glass jars and coming from all continents, with a wide choice of color shades. For my Earthphone I first made a sketch and chose the sand and soil of my native Italy: the iron sand of Baratti, the small stones of the Dolomites, the white marble powder and limestone of the Baths of Bagni di San Filippo, and combined them with the light pink marl, sand of the Dutch dunes and the sand of Drenthe. I was also allowed to use the pearly gray and blue of the mussels, the greenish and beautiful freshwater mussels of Waterland and other materials that nature offers. A workshop that is certainly inspiring, creative and relaxing at the same time. I am also very happy with the result.”
